SCHWEGO corrit EL 3016 is a corrosion protection additive designed for water-based coating systems. It effectively converts residual rust into a non-corroding iron organic compound, providing long-term corrosion protection even under poor substrate preparation and adverse painting conditions. The product ensures excellent penetration and adhesion by wetting residual rust particles and poorly degreased surfaces.

User Guideline:
The optimal dosage of SCHWEGO corrit EL 3016 is 3.0 – 5.0% of the total formulation. It should be added before pigment dispersion, with careful mixing to avoid local overdosage. Pre-dilution in solvents like water or glycol is recommended. Testing on pre-rusted panels with accelerated weathering is necessary to confirm effectiveness.
Storage/RRD:
Store between 5°C and 30°C in a cool, ventilated area. Stir before use. Maintains stability for at least 12 months if stored properly.
