Alkyl Polyglucosides from Zschimmer & Schwarz specifically for use in cosmetic products. These ingredients can be combined well with Coco Sulfate (SULFETAL) and Cocoyl Glutamate (PROTELAN) to obtain a luxurious cleaning product on a natural basis.

Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is the relatively smaller molecule with good dissolving power. It is possible to use this as an alternative to PEG-based solvents for perfumes or essential oils (MULSIFAN). This makes it particularly suitable for use in micellar water and hydrosols. In addition, of course, also in hand, body and hair cleaning products, where it also improves foam formation and stability.

Lauryl Glucoside is the larger molecule and provides a good foam and a mild yet strong cleansing. It can serve as a secondary surfactant in addition to Coco Sulfate (SULFETAL) to improve the properties, or as a primary surfactant with possibly Cocoyl Glutamate (PROTELAN) as a secondary surfactant for natural and luxurious bath foam, shower gel or shampoo formulas with COSMOS or NaTrue certification.

This product can be used excellently in the production of “green” personal care products.
