Product information

Solsperse W150 is a highly effective, 100% active polymeric dispersant designed for aqueous paints, printing inks, and colored concentrates. This versatile product enhances pigment and particle dispersion across a wide range of organic and inorganic materials, as well as fillers. It offers improved pigment wetting, higher loadings, better stability, lower viscosity, and enhanced gloss in various aqueous coating and ink applications

Typical Applicatilons

  • Aqueous industrial caotings
  • Aqueous wood caotings
  • Aqueous decorative caotings
  • Aqueous printing inks
  • Aqueous colored concentrates
  • Aqueous inorganic dispersions/slurries potential
  • Suitablity in higher polarity solvent-based systems

Solsperse W150 should ideally be dissolved in the milbase before the addition o pigments. dosage demand/addition levels should be based on the surface area o pigment/filler. The dosage level is typically 2.0 mg active dispersant per square meter of pigment surface area. This is simply the surface area divied by 5. A ladder series based around this theoretical dose is always recommended to optimize performance.

Shelf life/Storage

Solsperse W150 is packed in 20kg pails and 200kg drums.
Recommended retest date is every two years.
