SCHWEGO Foam 6351 is a silicone-free deaerating additive designed for use in solvent-borne, water-based, and solvent-free coating systems. It effectively reduces surface tension, improving leveling and preventing issues like cratering, substrate punctures, and blistering.
Typical Applications:
- Suitable for almost all solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems
- Particularly effective in hammer tone finishes, structural coatings, reactive thick film systems, heavily pigmented coatings, and airless spray formulations
- Effective in aqueous industrial finishes (alkyd/melamine systems)
User Guideline/Processing:
The recommended dosage of SCHWEGO Foam 6351 is 0.5 – 2.0% of the total system. It can be added at any production stage or afterward. Laboratory tests are advised to determine the optimal application range and dosage.
Storage/RRD:
Store SCHWEGO Foam 6351 in a cool, well-ventilated area. Ensure the original container is closed after use to maintain stability for at least 24 months.
