Product information

Cocamidorpopyl Betaine is a widely used, well-compatible, 40% active amphoteric surfactant that can be combined with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. Products in which it can be used are shampoo, shower, bath and hand soaps.

Combination with ether sulphate improves the skin feel of the formulas. The product also thickens better and the foam of the formulas improves. Good foam formation is also possible with this combination in hard water.

For mild products, the foaming ability is also an important property. Combination with Sulfosuccinate (SETACIN) and Amino Acid surfactants (PROTELAN) results in mild cleansing for sensitive skin and is particularly suitable for use in baby and children’s products.
