BLISTER FREE 3 is a silicone-free defoamer and deaerator designed for both solvent-borne and water-based coating systems. It effectively reduces foam and air entrapment, improving levelling and film elasticity. This clear, colorless liquid is highly soluble in coatings and suitable for various systems, including alkyd, polyester, PU, and acrylics.
Typical Applications:
- Solvent-borne systems: Alkyd, alkyd/polyester, unsaturated polyester, PU, acrylates
- Water-based systems: Alkyd/acrylics, saturated polyesters, epoxy systems
User Guideline:
The recommended dosage of BLISTER FREE 3 is 0.3 – 1.0% of the total system. For optimal distribution, add it at the beginning of production or to the millbase in pigmented systems. Post-addition is possible if evenly distributed.
Storage/RRD:
Store BLISTER FREE 3 in a cool, well-ventilated place, avoiding temperatures below 5°C. Stir before use. The product remains stable for at least 15 months when stored properly.
