Korrodur is used in primers to compensate poor presentation of substrate and unsatisfactory painting conditions like manual derusting, unfavourable weather conditions, careless preparation of substrate, and difficulties cause be type of constructions or location.

Korrodur is primarily a rust converting additive for solvent borne alkyd resin paints. Korrodur also has a good anticorrosive effect in solvent based coating systems based in epoxy, chlorinated rubber or acrylic binders.
