Product information

Protelan AGE can be used very well for producing emulsions, even at low temperatures. Combined with Sarcosinate (PROTELAN) or Glucoside (ZUTELAN) it is then possible to produce strongly foaming emulsions. For example as a shower cream, facial cleansing lotion or a foaming conditioner.

Without oil, the product can also be used as a surfactant for very mild cleaning. The emulsifying effect ensures that dirt is removed without stripping the skin of its own fats. If the product does not rinse away completely, the amide bridge is enzymatically hydrolyzed and the fatty acid and glutamate remain on the skin. These two components contribute to the natural moisture-regulating capacity of the skin. The product is very suitable for cleaning the face or for intimate hygiene products.
