Product information
SCHWEGO pur 8050 is a VOC-free, non-ionic rheological additive that significantly enhances the flow and leveling properties of water-based paints and varnishes. It provides a thickening effect that is independent of pH, reduces splatter during application, and maintains high gloss and color acceptance. This additive can be combined with other thickeners to achieve specific effects, depending on the binder system used.

User Guideline:
SCHWEGO pur 8050 should be added to the mill base. Optimal dosage should be determined through preliminary lab experiments, with a recommended addition of 0.3 – 1.0% of the total system. For predilution, use butyldiglycol/water (25/75) or methoxypropanol.
Storage/RRD:
SCHWEGO pur 8050 should be stirred before use and stored in its original, closed container to maintain stability for at least one year.

It is available in 30 kg and 155 kg drums.
