Product information

Solsperse 84000 is a 100% active polymeric dispersant that enhances pigment and filler dispersions and stability in various coating applications. This versatile product is effective in both water-based and solvent-based systems, offering improved performance and efficiency in paint and coating formulations

Typical applications:

  • Dispersion of inorganic pigments and Transparent Iron Oxides in water-based and solvent-based paints
  • Dispersion of inorganic pigments, especially TiO₂, in solvent-based coil coatings
  • Dispersion of inorganic powder slurries in water

Addition levels should be based on the surface area of the pigment / filler.
the dosage level is typically 2mg active dispersant per metre squared of pigment surface area.
this is simply surface area divided by 5.

Recommended retest date (RRD)/storage

Solsperse 45000 is packed in 25kg pails and 200kg plastic drums, and 1000kg IBC’s RRD: 2 years for storage, please refer to MSDS
