User Guidelines:

  • Dissolve SOLSPERSE 74000 in the millbase monomer/oligomer before adding pigment.
  • Dosage based on pigment surface area: typically 2mg active dispersant per square meter of pigment surface area.
  • Calculate dosage: Surface area divided by 5 = % dispersant on weight of pigment
  • For digital inks, consider higher dosages of 4-10mg active dispersant per weight of pigment.
  • For 6mg dosage, calculate: Surface area divided by 1.66 = % active dispersant on weight of pigment.
  • Test dosage levels 20-25% below the guideline for potential efficiency benefits.
