Product information

Syntran AC 5923 is a surfactant-free, multiphase, self-crosslinking acrylic polymer characterized by its extremely fine particle size. It remains clear in its container and excels at effectively dispersing pigments in pigmented coatings.

Notably, it exhibits exceptional metal adhesion, making it well-suited for direct-to-metal (DTM) applications. White-pigmented coatings, whether for industrial or decorative purposes, formulated with Syntran, showcase impressive stain resistance (including red wine, coffee, and mustard) as well as excellent alcohol resistance. Syntran yields films that are both very hard and scratch-resistant while remaining flexible, offering a high to medium gloss finish and good sanding properties. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and serves as an excellent companion for Polyurethane Dispersions (PUDs) without compromising the clarity of the PUDs.
